Frisco Travel Guide
Welcome to Frisco, TX!
Previously known as just another town located minutes from downtown Dallas, Frisco is beginning to prove itself as a choice destination for travelers of all sorts. Warm summer temperatures make it easy to enjoy a trip to nearby Lake Lewisville for swimming, fishing, boating and hiking. The city's art collection boasts the Texas Sculpture Garden, a large private collection of outdoor contemporary sculptures, and over 1000 art pieces inside the Hall Office Park buildings. Sports fans can enjoy golfing at one of the 20 surrounding golf courses, going to one of the Frisco RoughRiders baseball games (April to September) or taking in a Texas Tornado hockey game (September to May). Frisco is also home to a truly Texas-sized shopping experience with Stonebriar Center; the mall extends over 1.7 million square feet and contains a regulation hockey rink, a 24 screen movie theater, over 160 stores.
